Stay ahead of summer allergies with ARC

Austinite couple enjoying a beautiful day outside at Zilker Park during allergy season

Summer is quickly approaching, and Austin is nearing the end of a particularly bad oak season due to excess moisture from the heavy rain fall. However, warmer weather brings a rise in grass pollen, and rain and humidity will increase mold counts causing those with sensitive allergies to have congestion, runny nose, itchy, watery eyes, and sore throat.

ARC can help, with allergists at nine locations

ARC Allergy and Asthma specialists are doctors and advanced practice clinicians (APCs) trained to diagnose, treat, and manage allergy and asthma disorders for patients of all ages. Our allergists can help identify triggers and offer treatments such as allergy shots or allergy drops, which may help prevent the development of asthma.

We recently welcomed our newest allergist Nikki Patel, MD, who sees infants to adults at ARC Center Street in Kyle, and ARC Dripping Springs! Our allergists cover nine locations in our north, central and south regions, and are ready to help patients identify and manage their allergies.
