We are happy to welcome Monica M. Lash, PA-C, to the ARC Orthopedics team at ARC South Specialty in Austin and ARC Greenlawn Specialty in Round Rock.
Monica is working with Akshay Yadhati, MD, FAAOS, and the ARC Orthopedic Spine team; her schedule will open for appointments at the end of June.
"I strongly believe that a trusted partnership between provider and patient is pivotal for positive outcomes," says Monica. "Collaboration with other providers, the patient, and patient family is necessary for high-quality care."
Recovery begins before surgery
"Pre-operative and post-operative management is as critical as the surgery itself," advises Monica. "Examples include healthy diet and active participation in physical therapy."
"When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family, fiancé, and our new pup," says Monica. "Though the Texas heat can be rough, I love being outside whether it is walking, running, playing pickleball, or watching nature."
