If you're planning to become pregnant, you want to take the best care of you and your baby to help reduce risks. Proper health before deciding to become pregnant is almost as important as maintaining a healthy lifestyle during pregnancy. For example, you may begin taking a prenatal vitamin daily, prescribed by your Ob/Gyn or midwife, to make certain that your body gets the necessary nutrients and vitamins needed to nourish a healthy baby.
Many women don't realize they're pregnant until several weeks after conception and the first few weeks of pregnancy are crucial in a child's development. Planning ahead and taking care of yourself before becoming pregnant is the best thing you can do for you and your baby.
We recommend you begin with a pre-pregnancy exam with an Ob/Gyn physician, Nurse Practitioner, or Certified Nurse Midwife. ARC Ob/Gyn clinics are located in North, Central and South Austin, and Cedar Park. Refer to the map below to see our list of locations and providers.
At ARC Cedar Park Medical Plaza you can attend a Prenatal Meet & Greet to meet all the Ob/Gyn physicians. Call 512-260-1581 to RSVP.
