You can send an attachment to your provider through the “Care Team Message” function on MyChartARC.com or through Messaging on the MyChart App.

Send a message to your provider/ care team on the website

  1. Hover your mouse over Messaging and select “Care Team Message”. Please note: this is the only message type that allows you to attach an image.

  1. Read the “Message Your Care Team” Disclaimer and click on the "I accept and understand the above explanation" button:

  1. Choose your recipient and subject. Type a brief message to your doctor about the photo. Below the message box, click on “Attach an image” to add your photo/PDF. Please note that only one image or PDF can be attached, and the maximum file size is 5MB.

  1. Click on "Send".

You can send a message to your provider through the app!

  1. Select "Messages".

  1. Choose your recipient and subject. Tap “Add an attachment” to send an image or PDF to your provider. Add a brief message, and tap “Send”.
