You can send an attachment to your provider through the “Care Team Message” function on MyChartARC.com or through Messaging on the MyChart App.
Send a message to your provider/ care team on the website
- Hover your mouse over Messaging and select “Care Team Message”. Please note: this is the only message type that allows you to attach an image.

- Read the “Message Your Care Team” Disclaimer and click on the "I accept and understand the above explanation" button:

- Choose your recipient and subject. Type a brief message to your doctor about the photo. Below the message box, click on “Attach an image” to add your photo/PDF. Please note that only one image or PDF can be attached, and the maximum file size is 5MB.

- Click on "Send".

You can send a message to your provider through the app!
- Select "Messages".

- Select "Send a Message".

- Select "Medical Advice".

- Choose your recipient and subject. Tap “Add an attachment” to send an image or PDF to your provider. Add a brief message, and tap “Send”.
