Family Medicine
Dr. Date was born in India, moved to the United States at age seven, to Houston at age eight, and Texas has been her home since. In her free time, Dr. Date enjoys cooking, reading (special interest in ancient civilizations and history), gardening, and birding. Dr. Date and her husband have two grown children and a dog “that is the baby of the family” and also requests a nightly walk! She enjoys the many interesting Central Texas spots where nature displays its beauty.
The inspiration provided by a close family friend who was a physician, my interest in the biological sciences, and the service-oriented aspect of medicine all led to my desire to become a doctor. I believe that health care is a partnership between the patient and provider.
