About
Debra A. Burbach, MD, FAAP
-
Dr. Burbach has expanded her practice to ARC Kyle Plum Creek. She will continue seeing patients at ARC Goodnight Ranch. Read letter.
Dr. Burbach grew up in Rochester, Michigan. When she is not working, Dr. Burbach enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and four grandsons. She also likes playing with her dogs, Chewie and Wicket, watching college sports (go MSU!), attending concerts, watching movies, and doing anything involving Disney. Being relatively new to Central Texas, Dr. Burbach is having fun exploring the area.
I chose pediatrics as my specialty because I wanted the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children and families. It is important that families have support and guidance through the various stages of growth. Working with children is challenging but can also be fun, and each visit requires a unique approach as I shift from newborn to toddler to teenager. There is never a day that my patients don’t make me smile! Part of my role as a pediatrician is to help each family make informed decisions about their child’s care by listening and responding to their needs. I encourage open and honest communication because, ultimately, parents know their child best. I feel that humor can help put children at ease and make their doctor’s visit less scary. I genuinely value my relationships with families as we work toward the common goal of bringing up a physically and emotionally healthy child.
