About Andrea S. Raymond, MD

  • Dr. Raymond grew up in San Antonio. In her free time, Dr. Raymond enjoys spending time with her family and dog, hiking, cooking, and traveling. Among her favorite area locales is the Austin greenbelt.

I chose to go into medicine after watching my grandmother navigate her limited access to medical care. I chose Neurology because I found the nervous system fascinating, involving the whole patient. I believe empathetic listening to the patient’s history is the crux of good medical care. People often just want to be heard.

I'm relatively new to Dr. Raymond, but for the 4 appointments that I have had, I am impressed. I have already recommended her to others, particularly to women who are looking for doctors who feel they are not being taken seriously by male doctors.

Very kind front desk and Medical Assistant! Dr Raymond did a thorough exam and ordered studies to rule some things out. Finally some help with my issue!

Appointment was way too late. One hour late. The staff looked bored and just followed the routine procedure. The whole experience was just not pleasant. Don't expect much or fanfare, but how about some warmth. Have a heart .
