About Andrea S. Raymond, MD

  • Effective June 1, 2026, Dr. Raymond is seeing patients at ARC South Specialty. This move may affect upcoming appointments. Please check all notifications from ARC for visit details and address before any upcoming appointments. Read letter.

Dr. Raymond grew up in San Antonio. In her free time, Dr. Raymond enjoys spending time with her family and dog, hiking, cooking, and traveling. Among her favorite area locales is the Austin greenbelt.

I chose to go into medicine after watching my grandmother navigate her limited access to medical care. I chose Neurology because I found the nervous system fascinating, involving the whole patient. I believe empathetic listening to the patient’s history is the crux of good medical care. People often just want to be heard.

Dr. Raymond is very compassionate and carefully listens to your question and concerns about your health condition. She is also the most observant doctor I’ve ever met. As we’re talking she is carefully observing me and identifying anything of concern. I highly recommend her to all of my family and friends who need neurological care. I just love her as my neurologist!
