Mark Ambler, MD named TAFP Member of the Month

Mark S. Ambler, MD, Family Medicine at ARC Southwest, was honored by the Texas Academy of Family Physicians (TAFP) as the April 2026 Member of the Month.

TAFP's Member of the Month highlights outstanding Texas family physicians and their unique approach to family medicine.

Throughout his distinguished career at Austin Regional Clinic, Dr. Ambler has taken on many roles while maintaining a full and vibrant schedule at ARC Southwest. Dr. Ambler has worked on the peer review committee, executive board, clinical quality committee, and currently serves as the ARC Associate Chief Medical Officer for Primary Care and ARC Family Medicine Co-Chief.

Dr. Ambler has also precepted medical students and nurse practitioner students over the last 20 years and serves as the Medical Director of the Volunteer Healthcare Clinic.
