Austin Regional Clinic (ARC) hosted a booth at the Austin Vietnamese American Medical Professional Society (AVAMPS) Health Fair event in October. ARC doctors and advanced practice clinicians (APCs), including Bao C. Nguyen, MD, FACS, General Surgery, spoke with the Vietnamese community about the vast care services and specialties that are available to them. Our team was thrilled to see the attendees connect with their doctors and APCs in a comfortable community setting. There were also aspiring students who stopped by the booth to express their interest in working with ARC in the future.
AVAMPS is a local organization for Austin's Vietnamese medical professionals, and they regularly engage with the local Vietnamese population to provide health education, communal events, and resources.
