Medication & Lifestyle Program ARC's Medication & Lifestyle Program is available for patients ages 18 to 75 with a BMI of 27 and above (or 23 and above for those of Asian descent). Our physicians and advanced practice clinicians (APCs) specializing in weight-loss medicine and metabolic health provide routine follow-ups along with bi-weekly lifestyle coaching to support long-term success. Our care team combines cutting-edge medications, including oral and injectable GLP-1 medications, with personalized nutrition targets, monthly educational topics and recipes, and body composition analysis to address your unique needs. The program also offers alternative weight-loss medication options for patients who are unable or prefer not to take GLP-1 medication and includes genetic testing and treatment for patients meeting criteria for monogenic obesity (early-onset obesity).Weight-loss medication may promote weight loss by decreasing appetite and cravings, increasing satiety, blocking fat absorption, or mitigating biological or genetic factors.
