About Sandeep Badyal, MD

  • Canadian by birth, Dr. Badyal grew up in Brampton, Ontario. When she is not working, she enjoys cooking and is an “avid reader.” Dr. Badyal is relatively new to Central Texas, but already names Zilker Park as one of her favorite local spots.

From an early age, I was always interested in science. I started working as a pharmacy assistant through high school and undergraduate school, which furthered my interest in health care. I chose Family Medicine as a specialty, as it is a complex field and allows me to take care of people of all ages and backgrounds, not limited to just one area of medicine. I believe in being patient-centric, striving to provide continuing medical care for my patients, and building meaningful, long-lasting relationships with them.

I like that lab work is done at the doctor's office and I don't have to go somewhere else to get that done

Both the doctor and the nurse were new to me and I liked them very much. Easy to talk to and appeared to care.

As this was my first visit to this location, I am a bit disappointed by the lack of assistance and professionalism from your front staff. The young lady whom checked me in was nice at first. That is until I asked why I am still waiting when others had arrived after me and been seen before me, in fact one patient was in and out of your office while I waited just to be seen. After the request, her approach changed and when I was leaving I didn't care for the fake, smirky have a nice day comment as I was heading out, it was both unnecessary and unappreciated. Obviously, people come to your practice not feeling well and just looking for some relief from what ever issue they are dealing with. The service on the back was prompt and attentive but I will probably not be back to this location which is unfortunate because it's the nearest location to where I live.
