About Salima A. Ali, MD

  • Dr. Ali grew up and received her early medical training in Pakistan before moving to the U.S. In her free time, Dr. Ali enjoys reading about alternative medicine practices from around the world, spending time with her family, exercising every day, and trying out healthy recipes. Her favorite spots in town include hiking on Lady Bird Lake and exploring new hiking trails.

I strongly believe in patient empowerment and working as a team. With my knowledge of evidence-based medicine, compassion for all patients, ability to be a good listener, and interest in integrative care practices, I bring my patients the best and most modern care available. I enjoy getting to know the patient as a whole person and not just their disease, and provide them with knowledge so they can make the right choices for themselves. I am a strong advocate for healthy lifestyles and that ‘an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure’ – Benjamin Franklin.
