December 12, 2025 We are happy to announce that Ryan Arens, JD, has been named Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) and General Counsel of Austin Regional Clinic (ARC). In his role as CSO and General Counsel, Ryan will partner with the executive team to lead strategic initiatives and partnerships for the organization. Additionally, he will oversee ARC's health plan relationships and real estate portfolio, as well as the compliance, risk, and legal teams.
For the last four years, Ryan has served as Vice President and General Counsel at ARC. Since joining ARC in 2021, Ryan has played a crucial role in strategic growth. Most notably, he supported value-based care through the renegotiating of health plan contracts and played a key role in widening ARC's service offerings to include ambulatory surgery centers and advanced radiology.
"Ryan has a proven track record supporting our vision, as seen through our recent expansions in services and locations, and his leadership over the last four years. We are excited to see him grow in his role as we continue to make strategic decisions that benefit our patients and all of ARC," said Anas Daghestani, MD, President and CEO of ARC.
Prior to his time at ARC, Ryan held various leadership roles in other health care organizations, including another independent medical group, the academic medical center at Wake Forest University, and largest health plan network in the Carolinas and Virginia.
"This is an exciting time for ARC as we expand on our promise of coordinated, comprehensive, accessible healthcare," said Ryan. "I look forward to working with our teams to ensure ARC remains the leading health care provider for Central Texas."
