It's that time of year again! Medicare Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) begins October 15 and runs through December 7. AEP is the annual period that allows eligible U.S. residents to apply for and/or make changes to their Medicare plan. Medicare is a health insurance plan for people ages 65 and up, or those with certain conditions or disabilities.

Whether you're turning 65, transitioning from a commercial non-retirement plan, or are already on a Medicare plan, we know you have a lot to consider when it comes to deciding on a healthcare insurance plan. Now is the time to review your current insurance coverage and make sure it still meets your health and financial needs. As those needs change, it's important to understand and compare the options available, so you can make an informed decision that's best for your situation.

Austin Regional Clinic (ARC) accepts Original Medicare and several Medicare Advantage (MA) plans to make it easier for you to see ARC doctors or advanced practice clinicians (APCs). ARC is open to new and established patients with Original Medicare and the MA plans from Aetna, Blue Cross, and Humana. We accept only established patients for United Health Care MA plans.

New to ARC? You can find and schedule an appointment online with an ARC doctor or APC or by calling 512-272-4636 (512-ARC-INFO).

Whichever plan you choose, you can count on our commitment to providing you with the best possible care, now and into the future.
