About
Ramla Ali, MD
-
Dr. Ali grew up in the coastal city of Karachi, Pakistan. When she’s not at work, Dr. Ali enjoys cooking, socializing, and baking, including baking for bake sales, friends and family. She and her husband are both “foodies at heart,” and like to try new places to eat as well as different dessert recipes. Although she’s lived in Austin for over 18 years, Dr. Ali still feels like she hasn’t explored Central Texas enough. She and her husband love Lake Travis, The Oasis, and the surrounding areas.

I wanted to become a doctor for as long as I can remember, inspired by my grandfather, a family physician who touched so many lives in his community with compassion and commitment to his patients and the well-being of others. I became passionate about preventive medicine at a young age. I love to see my patients grow from fragile little beings to energetic young adults. I believe in forming a close bond with the entire family in order to provide the best care for their physical and emotional well-being. Counseling patients and their parents as they cross various milestones is the best part of my job.
