About Kristine Chen, MD

  • Dr. Chen was born in Round Rock and grew up in Cedar Park, TX. In her free time, she enjoys running, training for races, being outdoors, reading, traveling, and going to music festivals. She also loves spending time with her family and fiancé.

I chose a career in Family Medicine because I truly value long-term relationships with my patients—it’s such a precious and unique part of what we do. I want to be there for my patients throughout even the smallest moments and work together to improve their quality of life. I place a huge emphasis on preventive medicine. I want to be the first line of defense, helping patients navigate our complex healthcare system and advocating for them as necessary. I also believe that social determinants of health are extremely important, and understanding patients as a whole is the key to providing excellent, compassionate care.

My visit was primarily for biannual lab work and I have no other concerns or medical problems that I know of. My visit was no problem at all and I thank all of the ladies I dealt with. Professional, courteous and I thank them for the great job they do.

Both Dr Chan and the Assistant were awesome. Friendly, engaging and thorough. It was my first appointment as my new PCP. Timely, not a long wait. Very inviting atmosphere. They answered all my questions.

It was a good visit from when I checked in and when I was called by the MA. Dr. Chen was very nice and asked good questions. Appointment was pretty fast but the wait in the lobby and inside the patient room wasn't too bad at all.
