About Keerti K. Peterson, MD

  • Dr. Peterson grew up near Detroit, MI, and is relatively new to Texas. When she’s not working, she enjoys cooking, trying new foods, reading “whatever I can get my hands on,” traveling, exploring Austin, going to new/used book stores, catching up with her large extended family, and spending time with her husband, also a pediatrician.

There is something priceless about being able to watch your patients grow from toddlers into young children and eventually into full-fledged adults. I chose pediatrics to help guide this journey, advocate for my patients, and help them make healthy decisions that they will continue for the rest of their lives. Pediatrics is a team approach – the doctor, patient, and parents all get to work together to provide the best care for the patient.

The front desk specialist notified us we had a new member ID for our insurance, which we didn’t know. She was so helpful, knowledgeable, and patient! I was able to get with my husband, call our insurance and get that info to her. She knew current events regarding our insurance which led to the change and it made it so much easier for us. We LOVR dr Petersen. She is every mother’s dream pediatrician because she’s this very calm reassuring presence in the newborn storm. She makes this journey possible and so much better for us!
