About Andrew M. Walters, MD

  • Dr. Walters only sees patients for same-day illness and injury visits at ARC clinics as needed. Patients should always follow up with their primary care physician (PCP).

Outside of work, Dr. Walters is an outdoorsman and sports enthusiast – he enjoys running, swimming, surfing, camping, golf, frisbee, basketball, baseball, football, and rooting for the Orioles, Commanders, and Terrapins. He also enjoys hanging out with his wife and 3 unruly children. His favorite local spot? 'Pinthouse Pizza!''

I practice Family Medicine because every day in clinic, I get to meet new people from all over the world. I get to hear their stories, meet their families, and help them heal. In some cases, I get to see them again and again, building trust and respect while forming meaningful relationships. To me, there is nothing more rewarding. My practice philosophy is best summarized in the words of William Osler:’ It is much more important to know what sort of patient has a disease than what sort of disease a patient has.

Very good visit as always, I came in feeling really tough, I had been feeling like that for over two weeks. I was afraid that I had pneumonia, Dr. Walters was very nice I had seen him back in 2023 for this same problem. But he treated me and allowed me to get a chest X-ray. If I had to choose another doctor it would be him. I love nice people and doctors with great bedside manners. Thanks again Dr. Walters I am feeling much better today. Thank you for 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ treatment.

Dr Walters showed concern, asked background questions and then presented his recommendations. He also reviewed my meds to confirm any contraindications. Then, again made recommendations.
