We are pleased to announce Meagan R. Delaney, APRN, MSN, FNP-C, has joined the Family Medicine team at ARC South 1st.
"With a background in Trauma and Sexual Assault, I approach all encounters in a trauma informed manner, in hopes of creating a safe space where my patients feel comfortable entrusting me to collaborate in their health care," says Meagan.
Achieving optimal health
"I believe achieving optimal health involves emotional, psychological, and spiritual prosperity in addition to physical wellbeing," Meagan continues. "I take a holistic approach in that I focus on the whole person, not just the presenting ailment."
When asked about a health tip for patients, Meagan says, "Get your HPV vaccines and Pap Smears (if applicable)!"
In her free time, Meagan says she enjoys "Trying new Austin restaurants with friends, enjoying the sunshine or the rain on my patio, running and swimming, and snuggling with my cats and enjoying a good TV show."
