Each year, the Austin American-Statesman asks the public to nominate their favorite businesses and individuals in multiple categories.
Nominations are followed by voting on the top nominees, and then a celebration, the Community's Choice Awards, is held to honor those chosen.
Nominations are open until midnight Wednesday, April 24, and anyone, not just Statesman subscribers, can nominate.
