ARC is pleased to announce that Samuel A. Gorman, Physician Assistant, has joined the Same-Day Care team at ARC Kyle Plum Creek.
Gorman says, "I first became seriously interested in medicine as a career while volunteering as a medical Spanish/English interpreter here in Austin." He continues, "I was exposed to a variety of cultures and medical professionals that really had an impact on me."
Healthy diet, healthy lifestyle
When discussing his philosophy of practice, Gorman says, "I really try to listen to every person as carefully as possible and approach the experience in a collaborative nature. I also believe in a holistic practice, particularly one that emphasizes a healthy diet and lifestyle."
"I have a special interest in sports medicine/injuries and trauma," says Gorman. When asked for a health tip, he says, "If it hurts, don't do it!"
In his free time, Gorman enjoys "Cycling and snorkeling, a good movie or tv series, and attending concerts and art shows." He continues, "I'm pretty fond of Enchanted Rock and a number of fantastic BBQ spots in central Texas."
