We are happy to welcome Gowrishankar Gnanasekaran, MD, MPH, Geriatrician, to the team at ARC Senior Care. Dr. Gnanasekaran is now scheduling appointments for clinic visits beginning July 27.
ARC Senior Care is a clinic dedicated to Medicare patients with multiple chronic health concerns. Care is provided by geriatric doctors and advanced practitioners, and additional services include nurse navigators and pharmacy consultants.
When discussing his specialty, Dr. Gnanasekaran says, "Aging is a natural phenomenon that unfolds day after day for all of us. Rather than resisting, proper understanding of the process with good lifestyle factors helps with a smooth transition."

"Aging is not just a chronological process creating physiological changes in the body. It is more of an ongoing transition in physical, mental, and psycho-social aspects of life," says Dr. Gnanasekaran. He adds, "Understanding aging beyond physical changes helps navigate the transition smoothly."
In his free time, Dr. Gnanasekaran says, "Biking, yoga, and meditation are something I love to do daily. I also like to cook wholesome foods on weekends for my family. It is also a nice relaxation activity, and when you do it with family, it becomes a family event."
