For the fourth consecutive year, Anas Daghestani, MD, Internal Medicine, and President & CEO of Austin Regional Clinic (ARC), has been named one of the 2026 Power Players by the Austin Business Journal (ABJ). This recognition honors the 111 most influential leaders across Central Texas who have made significant contributions to their industries and left a notable impact on Austin and beyond.
Dr. Daghestani's presence on the list represents ARC's long-standing reputation and impact as a leader in the healthcare community, both locally and nationally. ARC continues to expand access to coordinated and convenient care with two new specialty hubs and adjacent outpatient surgical centers, Same-Day and After Hours appointments, and ARC's NormanMD — our on-demand virtual urgent care platform. Two new ARC Imaging Centers will offer MRI and CT scan radiology services to make access easier for patients. Additionally, the recognition highlights ARC's dedication to advance the quality of medicine through its clinical research program and innovation, backed by recent investments in robotic surgery, ambient clinical intelligence, and automated lab results.
"In blending innovative technology with a compassionate patient-first approach, we deliver smarter, faster, and more precise outcomes for our patients," Dr. Daghestani said. "I am deeply honored to lead and work alongside our exceptional team of physicians, surgeons, advanced practice clinicians, leadership, and staff as we continue delivering the future of medicine directly to our community."
In addition to his role as President & CEO of ARC, Dr. Daghestani is on the Board of Ascension Texas and on the Board of Seton Health Alliance, an Accountable Care Organization (ACO). He is on the Board of America Physicians' Group (APG), a national organization representing over 350 medical groups. Dr. Daghestani also serves on the Board of the Austin Chamber of Commerce and is an active member of the Austin Healthcare Council.
