About
Scott A. Boruchow, MD
-
Dr. Boruchow was born and raised in the Philadelphia suburbs and lived in Maine, New York City, and Boston before coming to Austin in 2013. In his free time, Dr. Boruchow enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, “exploring places near and far.” He also enjoys hiking, kayaking, running, playing tennis, and playing guitar. Among his favorite Central Texas spots is Inks Lake State Park.
I have always been fascinated by the marvels and complexity of the human brain, and am excited when I am able to determine the root cause of a patient’s symptoms. I find the detective work in neurology to be complex and challenging, but also satisfying. I always advocate for my patients’ best interests, recognizing that the ‘right’ treatment for one individual may not be the right approach for another. I provide support by understanding their goals and helping them accomplish those goals as best I can. I greatly enjoy getting to know my patients and working together to devise a solid treatment plan to improve their quality of life.
