We are pleased to announce that Albassi L. Tavares, APRN, FNP-C, Obstetrics/Gynecology (Ob/Gyn) has joined the team at ARC Medical Plaza Specialty.
"It was my dream since childhood to be involved in health care," says Albassi. "I believe it is my duty to help people to learn how to take care of their health and be accountable for their decisions."
Albassi continues, saying, "Each individual is responsible for their own decisions regarding their health. Having a provider to guide their choices with cutting edge education will make a difference to society."
The miracle of life
When discussing her choice to work in Ob/Gyn, Albassi says, "Pregnancy is my passion." She adds, "I have worked in labor and delivery for the last 11 years and each new delivery helped me remember about the miracle of life where a being is able to build another being and bring it to the world!"
Albassi gives the health tip to her patients, "Always listen to your body. Have an annual visit to your Ob/Gyn provider, ask questions, share information, and be open to guidance."
In her free time, Albassi says "I enjoy spending time with my husband and three boys, playing board games and watching movies together. Working out makes me feel energized and happy. I also enjoy cooking and baking."
