This year, it is especially important to get the flu shot, as it is likely flu viruses and the virus that causes COVID-19 will be spreading simultaneously. The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) continues to recommend universal flu vaccination for everyone 6 months and older, particularly for those in high-risk groups.
Limited drive-up flu shots
Due to the need to staff COVID testing and vaccination sites, drive-up flu vaccinations will be limited. When drive-up clinics are scheduled, we can administer flu and COVID vaccinations simultaneously if requested.
