"Every patient is unique. It is important to sit down, slow down, and really listen to the patient's/parents' concerns," says Dr. Chapa.
Decrease screen time for better development
"For children, it is best to decrease the amount of screen time and electronics (e.g. iPad) as much as possible. Reading books, coloring/painting, playing with physical toys (e.g. dolls, blocks), or other similar activities is significantly better for their overall development," says Dr. Chapa.
In his free time, Dr. Chapa says, "I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, and going to comedy shows in the Austin area with my wife."
