Perrigo infant formula recall

Perrigo Company has issued a recall of a batch of HEB Premium Infant Formula with Iron Milk-Based Powder and CVS Health Premium Infant Formula with Iron Milk-Based Powder due to elevated vitamin D levels, which could pose a risk to infants with kidney conditions. The affected products were sold in several states, including Texas.

Parents and caregivers can check if they purchased the recalled products by looking for the codes and use-by dates as listed below:

CVS: Shipments started February 6, 2024, with a use-by date of November 11, 2025, and the UPC code: 050428318034.
HEB: Shipments started February 2, 2024, with use-by dates of November 9, 2025, and November 11, 2025, and the UPC code: 041220164578.
