Affordable Care Act (ACA) marketplace enrollment

Open enrollment for Affordable Care Act plans available through HealthCare.gov is from November 1 to January 15. Keep your ARC care team by choosing from insurance plans we accept: Aetna, Ambetter, Blue Cross, Blue Advantage, MyBlue, Moda, Sendero, and UnitedHealthcare Exchange Plan.

All insurance plans accepted by ARC, including government plans, are listed online at ARCInsuranceInfo.com.

Medicare annual enrollment

Eligible U.S. residents can apply for and make changes to their Medicare plans from October 15 – December 7. Medicare is a health insurance plan for people ages 65 and up, or those with certain conditions or disabilities. It is important to know your options and pick a plan that lets you keep your ARC care team.

Medicare patients at ARC are 7.5% less likely to use the ER than other patients across the nation.

If you have received a letter from UnitedHealthcare (UHC) stating that any of the providers listed below are out-of-network, please be informed that refers to their former practice. The following physicians and APC remain in-network at ARC, and you may continue seeing them without any changes to your coverage:

COVID-19 vaccine appointment scheduling

An appointment is required to get a COVID-19 vaccine at ARC.

Vaccine eligibility and scheduling at ARC

The new COVID-19 vaccine is recommended for anyone 6 months and up. ARC makes it available for new and established patients.

  • Schedule online at MyChartARC.com: ARC patients with an account can log in and book directly.
  • Call: If you do not have an ARC MyChart account, please call 512-272-4636.

When schedules open, MyChart displays the same schedule that phone schedulers use. New slots may open daily, so if you don’t find an opening, check again after 8:00 am each day.

COVID-19 Vaccine Coverage & Cost: There is no longer a free vaccine from the government, so ARC must charge a fee like with other purchased vaccines. Most health insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid, cover costs for COVID vaccines. If you do not have health insurance, ARC offers a 25% discount if payment is made at the time of service. The cost includes a charge to administer the vaccine and the vaccine itself:

  • Moderna COVID VACCINE (6mos-11yrs) - $265.00 ($198.75 w/discount), ADMIN FEE - $80.00 ($64.00 w/discount).
  • Pfizer COVID VACCINE (5yrs-11yrs) – $156.00 ($117.00 w/discount), ADMIN FEE - $80.00 ($64.00 w/discount).
  • Pfizer COVID VACCINE (12+ years) - $234.00 ($175.50 w/discount), ADMIN FEE - $80.00 ($64.00 w/discount).
