Eligible U.S. residents can apply for and make changes to their Medicare plans from October 15 – December 7. Medicare is a health insurance plan for people ages 65 and up, or those with certain conditions or disabilities. It is important to know your options and pick a plan that lets you keep your ARC care team.

Health Insurance Marketplace open enrollment

Open Enrollment for a marketplace health plan on HealthCare.gov is open from November 1 – December 15 for your coverage to start January 1. Stay with your ARC care team by choosing one of the following health plans: Blue Advantage, MyBlue Health, Sendero, or UnitedHealthcare Exchange Plan. 

Effective January 1, 2027, we are not in network with Superior's Ambetter Health Insurance Marketplace (HIM) plans.

All insurance plans accepted by ARC, including government plans, are listed online at ARCinsuranceinfo.com.

Book your shots today

You can receive your flu shot and COVID-19 vaccine at the same time by booking a flu or COVID-19 vaccination appointment or requesting them at your next primary care visit.

Patients with Medicaid insurance must call to schedule and confirm vaccines are available.

ARC Insurance Updates

2027 UPDATE: Change to Superior STAR, STAR Kids, and Ambetter

Austin Regional Clinic (ARC) and ARC’s NormanMD will be out of network with all Superior Medicaid plans (STAR & STAR Kids) and Superior's Ambetter Health Insurance Marketplace (HIM) plans, effective January 1, 2027. 

ARC would like to continue caring for all of our patients currently on these plans. To remain under the care of ARC after January 1, 2027, patients should select a new health plan by December 15, 2026. Certain plans allow you to maintain your access to NormanMD.

    Texas Medicaid requires you to submit your plan change by the 15th of the current month to start coverage on the 1st day of the next month. To ensure you have access to continue your ARC care on January 1, 2027, you must submit your new health plan selection by December 15, 2026.

    The Open Enrollment period to choose a new Health Insurance Marketplace plan is November 1, 2026, through December 15, 2026. To ensure you have access to continue your ARC care on January 1, 2027, you must submit your updated application by December 15, 2026.
