We are pleased to announce that Liane A. Eastman, APRN, MSN, AGNP-C, has joined the team at ARC Southwest, ARC South 1st, and ARC Kyle Plum Creek as an extensivist in the Medicare Wellness program.
"I quickly realized in school that geriatrics was going to be my specialty," says Liane. "I enjoy working in an environment that allows me the time to cultivate a more long-term relationship with patients and their families."
"Chronic disease management is not easy," continues Liane. "My goal is to educate and support patients to allow them to make informed decisions that improve their quality of life."
Small changes, big impact
When asked for a health tip, Liane responded, saying, "Even the smallest change in habit (taking a short daily walk) can make a positive impact on your health."
In her free time, Liane says, "I am an avid gardener and love seeing live music." Not surprisingly, she says one of her favorite places to visit is the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center.
