Austin Regional Clinic (ARC) has added non-surgical Cardiology to the 18 specialties currently offered to patients.
Parul Desai, MD, who has practiced Cardiology in the Austin area for over 18 years, sees established ARC patients for consultations and diagnostic services including echocardiograms, echocardiographic interpretation, and stress testing.
"Heart disease can mimic and aggravate other conditions. Having ARC clinic access to a cardiologist can speed diagnoses and close treatment gaps," said Dr. Anas Daghestani, ARC CEO. Other benefits for patients with complex needs may include faster interventions and fewer repetitive diagnostic tests, such as labs and X-rays.
