Austin Regional Clinic is pleased to announce that Naimeh Tashakkorinia, MD, Internal Medicine, has joined the team at ARC Pflugerville.
"For me" says Dr. Tashakkorinia, "Medicine is not only my career, but it also represents my philosophy and way of living. Medicine allows me to connect with people, get to know them, listen to them, educate them, help them, and even learn from them."
Expounding on her philosophy, Dr. Tashakkorinia adds, "When I see patients, I see beyond the current complaint to the person as a whole."
More than the sum of their illnesses
Dr. Tashakkorinia says that she does not identify her patients by their illnesses. She says, "My patients are not numbers or medical conditions, they are individuals and need my distinct and individual attention, respect, and care."
When asked about her health advice for patients, Dr. Tashakkorinia says, very succinctly, "Eat healthy, exercise, and avoid stress."
Dr. Tashakkorinia grew up in Iran. In her free time, she enjoys reading, cooking, hiking, spending time with her husband, and watching their children playing sports.
