We are pleased to announce that Hannah L. Chacon, MD, Obstetrics/Gynecology (Ob/Gyn), has joined the team at ARC Center Street. ARC Ob/Gyn doctors are primary care physicians who focus on women's health issues including, pregnancy, fertility, birth control, mammograms, menopause, std testing, ultrasounds, and more.
"I have loved the field of obstetrics/gynecology since I was a child – I used to tell everyone I was going to deliver babies," says Dr. Chacon. "I chose medicine as a career because of the positive difference I can make in an individual's life and a community. Ob/Gyn allows me to support patients through huge life-events and to help provide education and guidance in decision making."

"Being trusted to guide patients through their healthcare is an honor and a privilege," Dr. Chacon tells us. "I aim to make our community healthier and educate my patients so that they can make decisions that help them reach their individual health goals."
When asked for her favorite health tip, Dr. Chacon says, "The best care is preventative care! Make sure to stay up to date on your cancer screenings and make an appointment before a situation becomes severe."
In her free time, Dr. Chacon says, "I enjoy drawing, painting, and photography. I enjoy spending time with my husband and pets, hiking, and exploring new restaurants around Austin. I also love to read fiction."
