Medicare annual enrollment starts October 15

The Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) for Medicare and Medicare Advantage is almost here. Austin Regional Clinic (ARC) accepts Original Medicare and several Medicare Advantage plans to make it easier for you to stay with your ARC care team. If you are 65 or older, you have until December 7 to enroll or make changes to an existing plan.

Health Insurance Marketplace annual enrollment starts November 1

Thinking about choosing a Marketplace health plan on HealthCare.gov? Open Enrollment is from November 1 to December 15 for your coverage to start January 1. If you need health insurance for 2026, this is the time to apply for or renew your plan and compare your options. Stay with your ARC care team by choosing one of the following health plans: Ambetter, Blue Advantage, MyBlue, Moda, Sendero, or UnitedHealthcare Exchange Plan.

Flu shots, COVID-19 shots, and RSV vaccine – now available for ages 6 months+

Fall is here. Prepare for flu season and protect yourself from viruses with this year’s flu, COVID-19, respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), and pneumococcal vaccines. ARC is administering vaccines during regular hours and at ARC After Hours Clinics. Remember, you can add COVID-19, RSV, or pneumococcal shots to any flu appointment.

Early detection for breast cancer

Breast Cancer Awareness Month serves as a helpful reminder to schedule your screening and take charge of your health. With mammography machines at ARC Center Street in Kyle, ARC South 1st, the new mammography suite at ARC Cedar Park, and the second mammography machine at ARC Far West, ARC has much more availability and flexible times to schedule. You can use the scheduling ticket you received by text or email to schedule online, schedule on MyChart, or call. You do not need a referral. Breast cancer screenings are recommended for all women ages 40 and up.
