Save time in the new year: Use digital options to update info
Happy New Year! We are grateful to care for you and your family in 2026. As you set your New Year's to-dos, we are here to help support your healthcare goals and keep your information up to date. There is no need to update your insurance plan until you have a scheduled visit. At least five days before your appointment, you will receive a text with a link to complete your pre-visit steps and include insurance updates. You will be directed to ARC MyChart where you can navigate to Insurance Summary to update your insurance details before your next visit. This convenient online option prevents the need for you to call to update your info, so your next Austin Regional Clinic (ARC) appointment is seamless.
Manage your loved one’s care with ARC MyChart Proxy Access
With Caregiver Access (also called proxy access), you can schedule loved ones’ appointments, view records, message doctors, and more. Using your ARC MyChart account, go to the Sharing Hub to request a child proxy or share adult proxy access. If you are not a patient, you can request proxy access at the clinic by completing a Caregiver Access Form and presenting photo ID. Some access requires additional paperwork like guardianship or power of attorney forms.

Patients must receive medical clearance from an ARC Healthiness physician or advanced practice clinician (APC) before starting the program.

Is it cedar fever or flu?
As Central Texans navigate peak cedar season and a surge in flu, we are here for you. With overlapping symptoms such as a stuffy nose, sore throat, fatigue, and cough, distinguishing between these conditions can be challenging. Knowing the differences between allergies and flu can help you understand what to do when you experience symptoms.

Experiencing flu symptoms? Schedule an appointment at ARC
Flu is here. If you are experiencing flu symptoms or have a positive flu test, we are here to help. Flu can vary in severity. An ARC doctor or advanced practice clinician (APC) can help fully assess your condition, address potential complications, and share an individualized treatment plan for children and adults. For a Same-Day or After Hours appointment with an ARC doctor or APC, schedule online or through ARC MyChart. Due to potential risk factors, we cannot provide a prescription for flu without a visit. An in-person visit is the best way to evaluate you.
