Learn more about Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).

I chose internal medicine as my medical specialty because it is very broad in scope and gave me the background to study, identify, and treat a wide variety of medical conditions. I use my degree to focus on adult ambulatory care, since it allows for creating a unique, comprehensive care plan for each of my patients. I use a holistic approach in practicing medicine to best serve my patients, focusing on helping them reach their individual care goals. All treatment options should be tailored to the specific needs of the patient. Patients should be able to feel comfortable asking any questions or raising any concerns about their care, to feel they are an integral part of each step of the decision-making process.

dr. Bastian is wonderful. His nurse was very kind to the only problem I had was with the front ladies who seem like they’re doing you a favor by checking you in. Not the first time I’ve experienced them acting rude
