About
Albassi L. Tavares, APRN, FNP-C
-
Albassi grew up in northeast Brazil, in a city called Natal (which means Christmas), and moved to the U.S. in 2003, originally to Peoria, IL. However, she wanted to get back to a warmer climate closer to the temperatures in Natal, so she moved to Central Texas. In her free time, Albassi enjoys spending time with her husband and three sons, playing board games and watching movies together. She also works out, as “it makes me feel energized and happy.” Albassi also enjoys cooking and baking, the parks in Austin, and the diversity of restaurants in the area.

It was my dream since childhood to be involved in health care. I believe it is my duty to help people learn how to take care of their health and be accountable for their decisions. Each individual is responsible for their own decisions, and having a provider to guide their choices with cutting-edge education will ultimately make a difference to society.
