I always felt a calling to become someone who helps and cares for others. I had a great pediatric nurse practitioner growing up, and she influenced me to look into health care as a career at a young age. The human connection of this profession, being able to leave a positive impression on people’s lives, or just being a support in times of uncertainty are what drew me to nursing and what gives me a great sense of purpose. Collaboration is an important aspect of my practice, as I want patients to feel that they have control over their own health and be involved and learn, not just by telling them what to do. I love to share in the small victories and positive outcomes. And preventive care and screenings are very important!

I really like Dr Choi. She is very knowledgeable and helpful in getting my preventative health back on track. I also appreciated how non-judgmental she was. I feel relieved following my visit. I also commend the lab staff. Blood draws are always difficult for me but they were patient and made sure they had gotten enough right away so I wouldn't have to come back.

The visit was not long enough to talk with my doctor. She insisted I schedule another appointment for a physical screening and time to talk. Why was such a short appointment time an option?
