Local health departments have not recommended additional vaccination beyond current guidelines. Texas health officials urge immunization to protect against and prevent the spread of measles. COVID-19 vaccine appointment scheduling

An appointment is required to get a COVID-19 vaccine at ARC.

Vaccine eligibility and scheduling at ARC

ARC has COVID-19 vaccine available for ages 0-11 through June. Updated COVID-19 vaccine for all ages will be available this fall. Please book a vaccine for your child ages 0-11 via your proxy ARC MyChart account or by calling 512-272-4636 (512-ARC-INFO). ARC makes it available for new and established patients.

COVID-19 Vaccine Coverage & Cost: There is no longer a free vaccine from the government, so ARC must charge a fee like with other purchased vaccines. Most health insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid, cover costs for COVID vaccines. If you do not have health insurance, ARC offers a 25% discount if payment is made at the time of service. The cost includes a charge to administer the vaccine and the vaccine itself:

  • Moderna COVID VACCINE (6mos-11yrs) - $265.00 ($198.75 w/discount), ADMIN FEE - $80.00 ($64.00 w/discount).
  • Pfizer COVID VACCINE (5yrs-11yrs) – $156.00 ($117.00 w/discount), ADMIN FEE - $80.00 ($64.00 w/discount).
  • Pfizer COVID VACCINE (12+ years) - $234.00 ($175.50 w/discount), ADMIN FEE - $80.00 ($64.00 w/discount).
