You’ve Got (e)Mail: Updates From Your Doctor
September 20, 2017
Now, it’s easier than ever to get news about your doctor and information about services at ARC. We have begun sending you more updates via email instead of U.S. mail.
What can you expect?
You will receive an email if your doctor relocates to another ARC clinic, leaves ARC, or even returns to ARC. This summer you may have received reminders about booking your child’s well check exam and this fall we’ll send reminders to get your flu shot. You already receive the ARC Healthe-Notes patient newsletter via email.
Add firstname.lastname@example.org as a Safe Sender
All of our emails come from email@example.com. Vertex is the HIPAA-compliant vendor we use here at Austin Regional Clinic. To assure that you receive important messages from ARC and ensure it doesn’t go to your junk folder, please add firstname.lastname@example.org to your safe sender list or you email address book.
Update Your Email Address
If you want to check if we have the right email address for you, log into your MyChart account, hover over Preferences, then click Change Demographics. You can then update your email address as well as other contact information like physical address and phone number. If you don’t have an ARC MyChart account, update your email address the next time you check in for an appointment!
