Tips to Avoid Surgery

Surgery is not always avoidable, but sometimes it is, if you take the proper steps. In this recent podcast, Dr. Christopher Bailey, General Surgeon at ARC Southwest and ARC Far West Medical Tower, discusses the link between good health and surgery. Dr. Bailey says, “The best tip I can give you (to avoid surgery) is to maintain your health.”

Dr. Bailey says that includes exercise, diet, and no smoking! The benefit? According to Dr. Bailey, “If you are healthy, it is going to give you the best opportunity for a long life. And, if you need surgery, it will improve your chances for a successful operation and speedy recovery.”

If you’ve been told you need surgery, make an appointment with Dr. Bailey online or call the clinic nearest you:
