Texas Monthly’s SUPER DOCTORS®: Rising Stars 2020 listing includes six Austin Regional Clinic physicians

Six Austin Regional Clinic (ARC) physicians representing five specialties are featured in the July, 2020 issue of Texas Monthly in its list of Texas Super Doctors®: Rising Stars Edition 2020.  The publishers of Texas Monthly and MSP Communications released this list of Texas Rising Stars, recognizing medical professionals who have shown excellence in the healthcare field and who are already making an impact early in their careers. The doctors were selected by their peers and verified by the MSP Communications in a process that combines peer nominations and evaluations with independent research.

“We congratulate our six ‘rising stars’,” said Dr. Anas Daghestani, ARC CEO,  “especially since they were nominated by their peers. They and their more than 340 ARC colleagues serve Central Texans with the coordinated, accessible, high-quality care for which ARC is known and respected, even more so now in this global COVID-19 pandemic.”

MSP Communications asked thousands of medical professionals in Texas to nominate one or more doctors, other than themselves, from 45 specified medical specialties, asking who they would choose in seeking medical care. The research team identified newer Texas doctors who have been fully-licensed approximately 10 years or less.  The “Rising Stars” distinction, now in its ninth year, specifically recognizes younger physicians for Texas Super Doctors, which publishes its main list in December.  Only 2.5% of all active Texas physicians are selected to the Texas Rising Stars list.
