Texas Monthly’s SUPER DOCTORS®: Rising Stars 2019 listing includes seven Austin Regional Clinic physicians
June 26, 2019
June 24, 2019 – Seven Austin Regional Clinic physicians representing four specialties are featured in the July, 2019 issue of Texas Monthly in its list of Texas Super Doctors®: Rising Stars Edition 2019. The publishers of Texas Monthly and MSP Communications released this list of Texas Rising Stars, stating that they are “exceptional physicians who have earned the confidence and high regard of their peers.” The doctors were selected by their peers and verified by the MSP Communications after an extensive independent research process.
“This is indeed a high honor for our seven ‘rising stars’,” said Dr. Anas Daghestani, CEO of Austin Regional Clinic, “and we are proud of this well-earned recognition from their peers. They and their more than 340 ARC colleagues serve Central Texans with the coordinated, accessible, high-quality care for which ARC is known and respected, helping keep our population healthier and saving healthcare dollars in the long run.”
MSP Communications asked thousands of medical professionals in Texas to nominate one or more doctors, other than themselves, from 45 specified medical specialties, asking who they would choose in seeking medical care. The research team identified newer Texas doctors who have been fully-licensed approximately 10 years or less. The “Rising Stars” distinction is in its eighth year, specifically recognizing younger physicians, for Texas Super Doctors, which publishes its main list in December. Only 2.5% of all active Texas physicians are selected to the Texas Rising Stars list.
The following Austin Regional Clinic physicians are included in the Texas Super Doctors® : Rising Stars 2019 listing:
