October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and to promote awareness and early detection, ARC Far West will offer Saturday morning 2D/3D mammograms through October, beginning Saturday, October 3. Schedule an appointment 8:00-noon.

Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women, but is also one of the most treatable with early detection. Mammograms are recommended for women age 50 and over, but women ages 40-49 or with significant risk factors should discuss earlier screenings with their doctor. Receive a complimentary gift any day you get a mammogram at ARC Far West in October.

2D and 3D mammograms are provided by ARC’s trained and accredited mammography technologists and are covered by most insurance plans, including Medicare for those eligible patients.

Mammograms will continue to be available weekdays, Monday – Friday, year-round at ARC Far West and ARC South 1st.
