Austin Regional Clinic Opens New Clinical Research Location

Austin Regional Clinic (ARC) will open a new location in South Austin, dedicated solely to clinical research, on June 17, 2019.

ARC Clinical Research William Cannon, located at 111 W William Cannon Dr, Ste 312, in Austin, Texas, is a 3,766-square-foot office with eight exam rooms that will have six employees who will conduct a wide spectrum of clinical research studies. Dr. Amy Siegel, ARC Internal Medicine, will lead the team as principal investigator.

The new location is a partnership with MediSync, a national clinical research company that partners with medical groups for dedicated research in their market. MediSync and ARC currently conduct clinical research at ARC Wilson Parke in northwest Austin and at ARC Kelly Lane in Pflugerville. ARC also conducts clinical research in medical specialties such as rheumatology and allergy at ARC Far West Medical Tower.

“We are really excited to be in the South Austin area,” said Jeff Repper, MediSync vice president. “We are expanding research within ARC to give as many ARC patients as possible in that geographic area opportunities for access to the same quality research studies currently being conducted in the north area.”

With the opening of ARC Clinical Research William Cannon, ARC will have four research facilities in its rapidly expanding network. Current research includes studies in asthma, liver cancer, rheumatology, colon cancer prevention, sinusitis, and pediatric meningococcal vaccine. ARC plans to continue to expand clinical research to new areas throughout Central Texas.
