Andrea Clayton named to Chief Human Resources Officer

AUSTIN, TX – July 9, 2018Andrea Clayton has been named Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) for Austin Regional Clinic (ARC). Ms. Clayton joins ARC with broad executive experience, both domestically and internationally, with medium and large companies, having served as a leader in Human Resources for nearly 20 years. Her experience includes training, recruitment, benefits, employee satisfaction and strategic planning for a wide range of companies, from large multinational organizations to Austin-based start-ups in both medical devices and financial services. Her most recent role was as Managing Director, Global Talent Consulting & Executive Search, for Vista Equity Partners in Austin, a private equity company that invests in software companies.

In her senior role as CHRO, Ms. Clayton will contribute to ARC’s strategic planning in addition to her human resources responsibilities, and will serve on the ARC Executive Board.

Ms. Clayton holds a B.A. degree in Management and a Master of Business Administration degree, both from Texas A&M University in College Station, TX. She also completed the Executive Education curriculum in Strategic HR Management from the University of Michigan.

She is a volunteer fundraiser for LifeWorks Austin and other local non-profits, and while employed in Australia for four years, won two national club gold medals for rowing at the 2014 Australian Masters National Championships.
