ARC CEO receives award from the Austin City Council

Dr. Norman H. Chenven, ARC CEO & Founder, was honored with a Distinguished Service Certificate in Austin City Council Chambers on May 21, in ceremonies preceding the City Council meeting.   Austin Mayor Steve Adler, presenting the award on behalf of the City,  commented on the founding of ARC 35 years ago, Dr. Chenven’s distinguished professional history, and his and ARC’s continued service to the community.  Accepting his award, Dr. Chenven thanked his  staff and employees over the years for ARC’s success, and said he looked forward to ARC serving the healthcare needs of the community for many more years.  Adding humor to his remarks, he also noted that he had “outlasted David Letterman,” (who had retired last week after 33 years of hosting his late-night television show)!  Congratulations, Dr. Chenven!
