Adult Inpatient Medical Services (AIMS) is established at Seton Medical Center Austin and Seton Northwest Hospital.
January 30, 1998
Adult Inpatient Medical Services (AIMS) is established to respond to the demand for 24-hour inpatient care at local hospitals, and at the same time, the demand for medical care in the physician practice setting.
AIMS Internal Medicine physicians provide 24/7 care to hospital patients, while allowing clinic internists to be more readily available for their patients who need to be seen in the clinic. AIMS services include discussing important health concerns with hospital patients and their families, and conferring with specialists as needed.
ARC will expand the AIMS program as new Seton locations are opened.
