“A long-term fight” says ARC CEO about COVID-19

Anas Daghestani, MD, ARC CEO, talked with the Austin Chronicle about the loosening of restrictions around COVID-19, sharing his concerns but also the opportunity to resume providing non-emergency procedures to take care of patients who need certain treatments.

Dr. Daghestani told the Chronicle that an incremental, data-driven and measured approach to loosening restrictions makes sense now, but cautioned that we are in the early stages of a long-term fight. "I think it's clear that Texas has flattened the curve at this moment in time," he said, but careful monitoring and sufficient testing will be key to maintaining the gains we have achieved. “We just need to double down and remain disciplined and not celebrate too early."

In addition to providing COVID-19 testing and care, ARC clinics are open for all healthcare needs, offering telemedicine, phone, and in-clinic visits in a safe environment.
